HighScope President Dr. Lawrence Schweinhart Testifies to Senate on the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Reauthorization

Senator Tom Harkin, who chairs the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions in the U.S. Senate, invited HighScope President Dr. Larry Schweinhart to testify at a hearing on ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) : Early Childhood Education. The hearing was held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in room 430 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. Here is the transcript of Dr. Schweinhart’s testimony and a video of the full hearing.
