From Detroit Metro Airport and other points east or west: Take I-94 to Huron Street exit (exit 183). South on Huron Street. Turn left into the Marriott complex. From points north or south: Take US-23 to I-94 East. Go east on I-94 to Huron Street (exit 183), at the second light make a
left into the Marriott complex.

Events


State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH) Are Available!
We have been approved to offer 3–5 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs) to all Michigan residents attending our conference. Find out more about SCECHs here.

To earn SCECHs:

  1. Review the Steps for Receiving SCECHs
  2. Locate your Personal Identification Code (PIC) and put it in SCR. 
  3. Complete and return a SCECH Registration Form to the registration table before 8:00 a.m. the day of the conference.
  4. Sign in and out of mandatory sessions during the conference.


Lunch With the Leaders
Lunch With the Leaders is for graduate students. Mentors will talk about careers
in (tentative list):

  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Universities/colleges
  • Local educational agencies
  • State government
  • Private foundations

Come and network with our sponsors,
other conference participants and
presenters, and share your vision for
early childhood work over pastries and tea.

Poster Session
We have a special poster display
session for emerging scholars/
researchers (graduate students and
recent graduates) that will take place during the Afternoon Tea and Networking. Posters will be displayed all day and presenters will be available to discuss their work at the tea.
